Twenty years of evolution — from a single sales automation tool into the platform you see today.
ConceptConnect didn't begin as a SaaS. It began as a tool. Over twenty years ago, our founders set out to solve a single problem: small businesses needed a better way to track their sales process and the data behind it. Spreadsheets weren't cutting it. Off-the-shelf CRMs were either too expensive or too complicated. So we built something custom — a sales automation and data management tool that did one job and did it well.
That first version was a custom web-based system, built for a single client. It worked. They closed more deals, lost fewer leads, and had real visibility into their pipeline for the first time. Word spread. The next client wanted a version too — with their own twists, their own custom fields, their own workflow. So we built it again. And again. And each time we built, we learned.
For years, ConceptConnect lived as a custom web software platform. Every client got their own deployment, their own modules, their own integrations. We built sales automation for sales teams, project management for agencies, event registration for venues, press relationship tools for publicists, and content management for media companies. We built phone systems, email blasters, SMS gateways, voice broadcast tools, and analytics dashboards. We built whatever our customers needed to run their businesses.
Along the way, we learned something important: the same problems show up across very different industries. A restaurant managing reservations, a publicist managing press contacts, and a contractor managing projects all need the same underlying things — a place to keep their people, a way to communicate with them, a system to track what's happening, and reports that tell them whether it's working. The details differ, but the bones are the same.
That insight is what eventually became today's ConceptConnect: a multi-tenant SaaS platform built on twenty years of lessons from real customers in real industries. Instead of building a separate custom system for each client, we built a single platform with deep, modular capabilities that adapt to whatever the customer needs. The CRM is the same CRM whether you sell legal services or smoked brisket. The social publishing module is the same whether you're a national brand or a local boutique. But everything is configurable, customizable, and ready to bend to your business.
And because it's multi-tenant, we can offer it at a fraction of what custom software costs — without losing the depth and flexibility that came from those two decades of custom builds.
We believe small and medium businesses deserve tools as powerful as the ones used by the Fortune 500. We believe software should save time, not consume it. We believe your data is yours, your customers are yours, and the platform you use to manage them should never get in the way. We believe in modular design, transparent pricing, and building things that work the first time.
Most of all, we believe the hardest part of running a business isn't having ideas — it's executing them. Almost every business owner we talk to has a vision of where they want to be. The gap between that vision and reality is filled with tasks: messages to send, customers to follow up with, content to publish, projects to manage, payments to process, decisions to make. ConceptConnect exists to close that gap. We don't have your vision. But we can give you the tools to execute it.
ConceptConnect is now a complete business operations platform. Over dozens of integrated modules cover customer relationship management, sales automation, email and SMS marketing, social media publishing across eight major platforms, AI-assisted content generation, project management, document management, events and calendars, press relationships, e-commerce, payment processing, and unified analytics across everything. Custom modules and integrations are still part of who we are — if a customer needs something the platform doesn't do yet, we can build it. That's the difference between a tool and a partner.
Today ConceptConnect helps organizations of every kind — restaurants, agencies, retailers, contractors, nonprofits, media outlets, professional services, and more — save time, save money, manage and create resources, and execute their visions. We're proud of where we started, prouder of where we are, and excited about what's next.
ConceptConnect is a product of Jasiri Basel, Inc., a Louisiana-based software company. Jasiri Basel has been building custom software and digital tools for businesses since the late 90's, and ConceptConnect is the flagship product of that experience — the distillation of two decades of hands-on work with real customers into a single platform that anyone can sign up for and use.
We're a small team that cares deeply about the work. Every customer interaction matters. Every feature ships because someone needed it. Every line of code is written by people who actually use the platform themselves to run their own work.
